Ballard Point Condominium upgraded its security door with a new wireless key system to help out with unwanted visitors.
This new wireless key system should help the Ballard Point condo to ensure that former tenants who had the complex keys no longer have access to the buildings.
Ballard Point had challenges this year around the complex with a couple of shootings and just most recently a burglary took place gain access from the side door and burglarizing one of the tenant’s condos on the first floor. Thus, the new wireless key system is expected to help a lot of unwanted visitors enter the buildings. But now we are getting reports from tennis saying that the system is not secure as most people think it is.
The locking mechanism that prevents the front door from opening with a key is not as safe as it ought to be because it is only threaded into the frame instead of inside the frame. Allows visitors to pull on the door to enter the building with no key and/or a key fob. Thus, the keyless system that Ballard Point spends money to keep the entry safe from undesirable visitors is a failure because the system doesn’t work visitors can simply pull on a door and get into any building.
